Hello. Yesterday I thought to myself that as humans, we are both carnivore and herbivore. At least, that is what I was taught to learn and believe in early education. But, I don't think we're really meant to eat meat because I think it disrupts our natural habitat. What's natural to me is caring. Seems to me, that the more we care about what we are putting in our bodies, the more our body can appreciate the process of changing and the stages of getting older. I came to this site and read because I really want to improve my health. I have pain in my side lately, and that could mean a couple things...gallbladder problems, or kidney problems. I don't really know. But, I have to change my eating habits or I think I will suffer and die. I have high cholesterol, and have to take medicine, and I'm a young age. Also, it's not right to make animals suffer by making them suffer to die gruesome horrible deaths and then actually enjoy eating their meat. Animals have their own purpose, but despite some beliefs I was raised to think, I don't think that animals should suffer. A good point this article made was that the world can be fed on the grains that are used to feed animals for their suffering. I've never seen the suffering an animal has to go through just so I can have their meat. I'm going to let that be a reminder to me when I walk around the supermarket. It's what we used to be. Hunters, and gatherers. But, it didn't happen in all parts of the world. At least I don't think so. I will look it up. But, every culture has been different. I really think strongly that today is the last day in my life that I'm going to have eaten meat. It's putting me through unwanted suffering. As I will be looking for some healthy vegetarian recipes in the near future and now, I just want to humbly encourage those who care about their health but have said no thanks to a vegetarian lifestyle to reconsider their options, because believe it or not someone out there cares about you, and they don't want to see you suffer or die because of complications with your heart or other organs simply because of threats like obesity or high cholesterol. I'm not trying to preach, and I know I'm a rookie. But, if I could give any advice in the world today it would be to just feel good and feel confident that you know that you're doing something good about your health and your weight for your life. My reason, is because I love life, and I want to live longer. And there are so many wonderful benefits from choosing this option compared to choosing to eat meat again. That's basically like choosing death. So, as I once heard the phrase, "Meat is Murder", I just hope you realize that it really is murdering a body by eating meat. Not just the animal's, but mine and yours too. Caveat Emptor. Let the buyer beware.
